Comptech Adjustable Springs

Comptech Adjustable Springs
Since coilovers are $1200+ and springs are not height adjustable, I was thinkin of purchasing adjustable springs. Now the only ones I was able to find were Comptech adjustable springs for a lil under $700. Does anyone know what the ride is like on the Comptech adjustable springs and if another manufacturer makes adjustable springs?

I am pretty sure that Ground Control makes a set. Before I bought my JIC coilovers, I was considering them. They have a wide assortment of spring rates, so you can fine tune the ride / handling.
Their web site doesn't show S2000 kit, so you will need to call them. If you plan on replacing your shocks with Konis, you will need to get the GC kit specifically for them.

Probably, in fact you could most likely use the same springs and sleeves, it might just require a different perch adapter? I have the GC sleeves (installed this weekend?) if thay don't give me what I am looking for I will probably get the GC AD shocks.

I actually have the Comptech coilovers and Koni adjustable shocks. I have had them for about 2 years with no problems and I am at a 2.5 inch drop. The car rides like the day I drove it off the lot. My roommate had GC and has had a couple problems with them plus the ride was one of the worst we have ever been in (always bouncing around like you were in a car with cut springs). He actually just upgraded to Tein and its like night and day. I couldnt believe the difference. I will have him PM you if you like to tell you the pros and cons of the GCs.

There should not be any difference in ride quality between the 2 setups if the shocks and spring rates are the same. It sounds to me like your friend got really stiff springs and kept the OEM shocks.

Yes, your right. He just had the adjustable springs with the OEM shocks.. I know it probably rides better with aftermarket shocks but thats what he was running...
