Compression test procedure?
From searching, I have learned that I should actually let the car warm up first. Higher temps will yield lower compression numbers, but give a truer read.
Besides pulling the spark plugs, do I need to pull any fuses? When turning the car over, do I need to apply throttle? Any help is appreciated.

I know it's only been a few hours, but s2ki people have spoiled me.

On older cars that have a single coil, you need to ground the ignition system as well but I'm not sure that necessary with the S2000. Anyone know for sure?

Edit: I'm not sure about getting lower numbers with a warmed up engine. I was taught that the heat expansion that the internal parts (ie: pistons and rings?) go through in a warm engine helps everything to seal properly so you should, if I'm right, get better compression numbers with a warm engine than a cold one. Not to mention that with everything warmed up, the internals should be better lubed. Just a thought!

Again, thank you all. I did not get the chance to do the test before attending the Vintage Spring Fling meet this weekend. Hope to do it tomorrow.

Fuse layout label is on the kick panel.

just did this yesterday, its quick and easy and gives you a peace of mind.
I recommend keeping something to jump start your car nearby cause its very likely you could run your battery out turning your motor over so many times.
Mine came to 215-225 across all of them, first glance I'd say this is well in norm. Any second opinions from others that have done this?
