Default the common problem, unsual suspects

don't bother..

How bad is bad w/ CDV? I mean, 1st to 2nd, to 3rd, It lags for good 1.5 second or little more. Today got worse

so you tell me what you think.. as I shifted into 2nd at 7900rpm, I felt it started to slip real bad as my right foot was back on the paddle pushin down fast to catch the rpm.. Soon I released the right foot to drop the rpm down to 6500 or 6700 rpm for clutch to grab, then I was back on it like we all do.. Again it sliped.

Either my stock car was well broken in by previous owner(lots of torque), or he used and abused my s2k. I haven't check to see if he removed the CDV since the weather got me lazy.

So did your car acted like that too? If so, what was your solution/route you took to reduce or elinimate the problem? PP/flywheel/cluth/cdv? and how many miles since then? any noticeble wear/tear on tranny, including diff?

All your knowledges would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

lastly, any s2k golfer out there? maybe i should start a new thread for it eh?

Sounds like WAY too much slipping, mine doesn't do anything of the sort. Especially once you let off and it grabbed, the started slipping again...sounds like a new clutch setup might be in your future.

i had to replace the clutch @ 15k miles. CDV + drag "racing" = bye bye clutch. exact same symptoms.
Honda dealer said that the clutch itself was still usable, but PP was busted to #$^@

CDV= Clutch Delay Valve
