Default The common 1-2 grind

Hey I have the all too familiar 1-2 shift grind. I have taken note however that I can shift at 8k to 8.5k and not grind BUT if I shift at 9k it will grind almost everytime. Just curious if that should be taken as a headsup for the clutch starting to get weak or if I have a syncro going bad. I changed the tranny fluid with GMSFM and it seemed to have gone away temporarily but now its back. My thoughts were that if it was the syncro it would do it at almost any rpm range rather than being on the high end of the powerband where there is more stress on the clutch. ???

does not sound clutch related by your description ....... how exactly would a "weak" clutch play in to the scenario?

"it's" not "handling" any HP while the clutch pedal is depressed ......... you are pushing in the clutch while shifting, right?
