I don't think the car will crank unless the clutch is disengaged -- pressed to the floor. There's an interrupter switch on the clutch pedal with a nylon contact that is known to fail and drop the little plastic parts on the carpet below that point. Any little broken white plastic parts on the floor? Standard Honda/Acura part every dealer should have. This interlock prevents you driving thru the wall of your garage if the car is in gear and the clutched engaged.

In my experience the fuel pump is inaudible unless I'm listening closely for it.

Not the battery. Tested good at the auto parts store.
Not the clutch switch. There was no buzzing when I pressed the Start switch when the clutch was not pressed. There was buzzing when the clutch was pressed. Therefore, the clutch switch was working, i.e. different result with and without the clutch pressed.
Never did the engine turn over. Time to study the electrical schematic.

One thing about this car that bugs me is that it is a major repair job just to change out the starter.

Do the lights work and other electrical systems ? Do you have rats/mice in your garage? Trace the positive wire that runs to the starter if you can get a good look at it. Good the hear the battery is fine.

Was the battery load tested or just checked for voltage?

Chuck - The auto parts place used their tester, not a volt meter.
zeroptzero - All the dash lights come on and do not dim when I press the Start button. Do not have mice/rats in garage. I drove the cars a few days earlier.

Will try and tap or swap the Starter Cut Relay to see if I get a change.

I plan on bypassing the Clutch safety switch in the future as I have been told that holding down the clutch while starting can cause problems.

Starting to sound like either the starter is toast or you are not getting power to the starter for some reason. I don't know the answer to this - but is there a fuse in the circuit? What is there between the battery and the starter?
