Coilover Dampener Setting for Storage
I have Bilstein PSS9 coilovers and I have stored my car for the winter. I have all shocks on the softest setting. I don't really have any justification for this other than it was the last setting I was testing on before I stored the car. The car will be stored for roughly 4 months.
My question is, when you store your car (2 < months < 6) does it matter what setting your coilovers are on in regards to dampening? Is there a better setting to leave it on? Really stiff/really soft?
I'm just thinking if there are any time effects that may occur and I will notice in the spring when I take it out.
The shocks are loaded statically by the weight of the car only.
Thank you.

If your worried about stress on the suspension system, you could always put your car on jack stands for storage. That eliminates all the weight that would be on them. I'm not sure if this is a valid option for you or not though.
