Wow reminds me of Cobra's that had the plugs shooting out of the head. That pic of the cylinder head sure shows there are not many threads holding these plugs in. I guess thats why they make it so clear to torque the plugs to spec on a stone cold motor huh. Will keep this in mind for sure!

Improperly tightened spark plug is the cause. 100% without question

I think my Helm manual had the old tq value in it and I forgot there was a revised spec.

Been there, done that.
Yep it was a loose spark plug...

Question though, what did u guys do... I was able to get it all out.. but did you guys end up removing the head..

I was planning to do a compression test and remove the head if its bad.. But i didn't want to remove the head if i didn't have to..

My other question is there are bits of peices of the coil pack on the valvetrain.. I cleaned it up but Im worried what if there are stuck peices in the oil passages...

Ima drop the oil pan and clean that up.. Any other suggestions...
It wouldn't be in your valve train. It would have passed through the exhaust system if anything. Compression test is good. Depending on what fell in there it might have scored your cylinder walls.

Good Luck.
