COIL PACKS STUCK?!?!?
Ok so about a week ago my car broke down on the way to work one morning. A nail I guess popped up from something in front of me and popped a hole in the lower area of the radiator causing my car to overheat..
the engine turns over but wont start so we go to check the plugs and to our surprise 3 of the 4 coils are seriously like fused or something in there!!
We have tried everything but a serious breaker bar because i wanted to avoid breaking them but at this point I am getting desperate so i'm asking the wisdom of the community to offer me some advice.
We scanned it and no codes are showing up.

Yeah it sounds like they melted and fused to the walls. Really are going to have to put some force into turning and pulling to get them out.

I've seen pictures of melted coils, its pretty ugly. Just know you'll have to get in there and clean plastic bits off the top of your cylinders after popping them out... but if you overheated you're probably diving in there anyway right?

Don't they come out with the valve-cover as one piece? Meaning just try and remove the valve-cover. This happened to a Bimmer once I worked on and I just removed the valve-cover with the coil pack that was bolted to the cover.
