Default Code question

I got a CEL code P1518? Know what it is? I started up my car this morning and the rpm was at 1500, usually it is suppose to be at 2000 at cold start up. I tried steping on the gas pedal trying to hold it at 3000rpm, but it kept reving up and down. First I thought it was a misfire, but wouldn't that make the CEL flash? So I disconnected the MAP sensor (while the car was off) and it fixed the problem, but I am just curious what code P1518 is.

Thanks

I see only one code in the 1500s in the Helm manual and that's P1519 and it's for Idle Air Control Valve.

Yes, it is P1519, sorry heh.. Any idea how I can fix/repair this problem? I messed with the map sensor and it only fixed the problem for awhile. The light came back on again (after driving the car for 3 days). Are there any "recalls" for the map sensor if it is the problem?

There is a "TSB" for the MAP and securing system but this would not apply to your issue. The IAC valve has been reported as an issue. They should change it on warranty.
