Default clutches?

My s is my daily driver but i also do a lot of racing on week ends and the stock clutch just died on me. I don't have any big mods: kn air injection, spugen exhaust, toda headers. But i do drive hard. Can anyone sugest what clutch package i should buy?(im considering dual friction centerforce)thanx

I've put your other duplicate thread into the Dumpster.

I don't have any S2k experience with the CFDF clutch, but I loved it in my Talon. It had a very smooth engagement, held ~400 hp w/o a problem, just about perfect pedal preasure, and is still looking good after 20k miles (passed on to a new owner now). The one thing you have to be careful about is the break-in period, follow it VERY closely and exactly for the clutch, and make sure not to overheat it while racing. Basically don't make repeated drag launches over and over again w/o giving it a few minutes to cool down.

this topic has been discussed many times before.
i have ACT PP, oem disk and comptech flywheel. it's been great so far and easy for daily driving. i've driven the S with exedy and it's a pita to drive in the traffic. the clutch point is so tiny that you have to be really good at it. so my advise is to get the ACT combo. also it's cheaper than exedy

Hardtopguy currently has a "package" deal on for OEM flywheel, clutch disc and ACT HD PP. This would be a good combination for most street/track duty.

Well, I'll lock it instead. It does make a couple of good points.
