Default Clutch wont release

Just drove home without using clutch. Pedal went to floor and doesn't release clutch. What is the common part that breaks? Release fork? Pivot pin?

Can anyone give me a clue what to look at?

Thanks.

Reservoir full. Something snapped when I went to shift to third and pedal dropped to floor - just like when I snapped the clutch cable in my '78 Civic.

well... why don't you visually inspect everything first?

Inspect master cylinder, slave cylinder, get someone to move the pedal while you look at the slave and see if it moves.... etc.

I had that happen to me after a flush and it was just an air bubble in my case.
All I did was pull the pedal by hand and pump it a little and it worked fine.

Looks like the transmission has to come out. The clips that hold the throwout bearing in the release fork broke.
