i got a new clutch master cyliner and slave cylinder from pepboys for 151 dollars and did the job myself. 33k later not an issue. i new master cylinder iself only is about 80 dollars. I would recommend a diy or something along that lines. it will save you 300 dollars.

Just to give an update, picked up my car today. Total cost for a new master cylinder and bleeding with labor was going to be $311. Shockingly it was covered by the extended warranty! Thanks Zuriech! Everything is fixed so that was the problem you guys were right.

Is there a difference in part for this CMC between the LHD and RHD ?
Need this part urgently for my RHD s2k , seems like japan having shortage now....so am thinking of ordering from one of the US online retailers....

Advice much appreciated
