clutch/tranny "issue"

Yea thats what im thinking but i need some input as to what i should do.

ive got a warranty but IF they do the teardown and its discovered that its not internal to the transmission then im still stuck with the $935 bill if they tear it down. If it happens to be something wrong with the clutch then the warranty will not cover it and im still stuck with the $935 bill. What should i do? i can change a clutch and change out a transmission but i wouldnt be the best to diagnose where the problem was coming from.

any other thoughts on this? its been at honda for over a week and they havent even looked at it yet.

what i really wish i knew was if it was a problem internal to the transmission or part of the clutch assembly
