Cyclon, do you feel that you at some point glazed your clutch and that was the cause for the early replacement? Or was it actually directly caused by the removel of the clutch delay?
I'm just curious since I have yet to do this little mod, and just want to know any negitives that anyone may have encoutered.

I'm not sure if it was related to removing the delay though however, this is my second AP2 and I replaced the valve on the last one and didn't have any problems for 22k miles. I do think that the older valve feels more solid than a new modified one. The biggest problem though is the pressure plate. The AP2 pressure plate is so light, it makes it very easy to lose grip on the clutch. The ultimate solution is a HD pressure plate.

I've experienced the exact same problem, removed the delay valve on my 04 and the clutch continues to slip. My problem has always been that this happens completely randomly. Some times there is no slippage and sometimes there is.
Honda has looked at the car several times; I ended up replacing the slave cylinder (essentially putting it back to stock configuration) with another 04 unit. It actually seemed to improve the situation.

Bad News...
I had this exact problem in my MY04. Removing delay valve seemed to help, but after a few days I realized I was mistaken. I could tell the difference of the delay valve not being there, but the clutch was still unmistakeable slipping. What's the solution?
New clutch. I bought a SPEC Stage 2+, which I'm not very happy with. I have a horrendous clutch buzz now, when engine braking from about 4000 rpm and lower. On a bright note, the problem with slipping is now 100% gone, and I shouldn't have to worry about it for a long time.
IMO, go with the ACT PP and stock disc that everyone recommends. Hardtopguy.com has a deal for the disc, pp, and comptech flywheel. It's a great price and it's exactly what the car needs. Sucks to have to spend that much on a clutch on a brand new car, but I'm afriad it's just a major downfall it has.
FYI, when the stock clutch came out, the disc was severly glazed and the flywheel/pp were both full of heat damage. I'll try to add some pics to this post later, if anyone would like to see. I was the second owner of the car. Bought it with 15,xxx miles, replaced clutch at about 17,500. Was very, very aggrivated.
