Clutch sticking + slipping

Clutch sticking + slipping
2004 with close to 28,000 on it. I purchased it used at 19,500. Recently I noticed at high-revs when I would go to switch gears, I would have to practically slam my foot down on the clutch to get it to go in. It's only at high-revs, but there is very noticeable resistance. In addition, if I shift quickly from gear to gear, the clutch slips.
This has never happened before the last month. I don't know for certain, but I always believed the clutch delay valve to have been removed by the previous owner as I've always been able to shift at lightning speeds, never experiencing slipping, just immediate engagement.
Any ideas? It's hard for me to believe my clutch is gone at 28k. I'm hoping it has something to do with the high-rev pedal resistance I'm feeling. I plan on taking it into Honda since it's still under factory warranty, but fear being told I'm abusive and need to pay them an absurd amount of money for clutch replacement.
