The other day I decided to launch the car for the first time . I revved up the car to about 6k and dropped the clutch. Tires spun a little then the car too off............
when I came to a stop, I noticed the car stunk from the clutch. No biggie, I just launched the car.
But it has been days later, I have not launched the car again, and not driven the car hard since then. Still there is a little burning smell that seems to still be the clutch.
My question is, did something get stuck, or ruined from that 1 launch? It wasn't even a hard launch really.......... Clutch feels fine, engages fine, disengages fine. What could it be? Should I take the car in? maybe it is something else, but something stinks since that launch
Once again the car has only 3k. I have had 5 other manual cars with no clutch problems at all , and some of the other cars have been driven hard.
