RazorV3 just got the car back yesterday - the replacement (tsb-054) clutch blew in 5k milese last Friday so the car sat for a week and now i smell the clutch so the question is am i still smelling last week's fisco or am i smell the new clutch?

You can adjust the clutch pedal slightly but I would suggest this ONLY if the clutch friction point and free play travel is NOT what it is supposed to be. Get down inside your footwell and look and the pivot area of the clutch pedal. You'll see a rod that goes into the firewall. On this rod (on the pedal end), there is a lock nut. Loosen this locknut and rotate the rod with your fingers. Only do about 1/2 to 1 turn at a time, do up the lock nut and go for a test drive. Turn it more or go back and try the other direction to suit your needs.

The manual does not call for a pedal adjustment with a clutch replacement and in my experience it is needed, so IMO it is a major oversight.
It seems to me that 2/3 of new clutches engage differently that the one replaced and without an adjustment there is regular slipping in normal starts. There are a number of threads that detail how to make the adjustment. There are two adjustments and I found increasing the stroke before adjusting the rod to be effective.
DO NOT live with regular clutch smell or you will need a new one soon.
