Clutch Slippage...what is normal?
My car is at 37K and I got a significant clutch slippage the other day when I was at WOT acceleration (almost like I was drag racing) but I did not launch hard. I speed shifted and the clutch slipped in 2nd, and 3rd gear.
No offense to the street racer crowd, I have never drag raced my car. I haven't even tracked my car yet. The previous owner was an older gentleman and I didn't forsee him drag racing the car either.
Is this normal wear and life for the stock clutch?

Hopefully you've only glazed it in which case you should be doing as wisconsin said and just driving easy...lots of easy street driving not highway.
Unless you actually managed to burn your clutch down then you need a new clutch
