clutch seems different than other s2ks
Hi, I think something may be wrong with my clutch. It seems that my clutch engages slightly lower than other s2ks. And it also seems more difficult to get moving from a deadstop smoothly, I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is easier to start off bogging (dont know if im using the right word, really hard to explain haha) than other s2ks I have driven. I'm pretty sure the clutch in there is in good shape since I never abused the car and it only has 16k miles on it. Could it be that i may need more clutch fluid or something? Any reccomendations would be appreciated and sorry for my verrrry bad descriptions haha.

I would start with checking the clutch fluid level.
If that's ok then you probably have no leaks.
It wouldn't hurt to check the master & slave though.
Fresh clutch fluid and a bleed should solve your problems IMO.
As a last resort ! you could try to adjust your clutch master at the pedal.
There is a DIY on top of UTH for that.
I guess this answer could be found by doing a search too.. no offence

i looked and didn't find it.
so i used the helm's manual, but I don't understand how to adjust the rod...so i only adjusted the top clutch stopper..so it stops the clutch pedal at a lower point...

I was sure at the time of writing the reply.
Because its not there
Sorry.
I am sure that I have read some kind of HowTo by xviper and I assumed it was in the FAQ.
In that post xviper mentioned adjusting the free play at the pedal is tricky and if done wrong may make things worse (fried clutch ect).
Can't find the post.. again : sorry.
If that free play wasn't adjusted, fresh clutch fluid & a proper bleed should do the trick IMO.
are you sure there is a DIY on the clutch pedal adjustment?
