Just unscrew the bolt and leave it in the hole. If it does come out, you can put in in again from the bottom of the car. You will not be able to see it, but you can get to it with your hand. I actually put the socketback on it from under neath the car. I put a shop light on the crossbeam right behind the motor and shined it on the motor. I was able to get enough light back to see what I was doing.

I did cut the ties. After doing so, I figured out how to undo them without cutting them. If you look at them carefully, you will see that there is a latch to open them. It is hard to explain, but they can be opened.
I did cut mine off and zip tied them back.
