Hi S2K lover . I got my car a year ago its a 2000 s2k and its time for a clutch replacement at 140k.I know there's alot of forums out there about this topic but they wasnt specific on which motor mount to take off and which bolt should I take off from the mount. And how should i surport the engine ? Sorry to sound like a novice . Hopefully you guys can help me . Thank you ...

You don't take any engine mounts off. Just loosen the six bolts that hold the front subframe in. You only need to lower it a couple of inches. No need to support the engine. No offense but it sounds like this may be out of your league. Find a friend with some knowledge or call a pro.

There is quite a procedure to get to the point of removing the tranny, including support of the front subframe as it gets lowered, and disconnecting the steering shaft. I think there is a diy on this site but a shop manual is really what you need. An extra set of hands really helps too.

When i did mine i never touched the steering shaft.

OP do you have a hoist to do it on? I can't even picture doing this without the car being REALLY high off the ground. Before I did it I thought it was going to be a big pain but it wasn't that bad. Keep in mind I did mine on a hoist.
