Clutch replaced by Honda under warranty
Just want to let you guys know that I took my 01 s2k in to the dealer and the mechanic took my car out and told me I need to get my clutch replaced under recall. After i got my car back, I feel the clutch is alot softer as well as quieter.
Is this normal operation of the new updated clutch for s2k? It is more difficult to chirp my tires now.

My pedal feel also got a little softer when my clutch was upgraded on my MY '00 car.
Keep that up and you'll probably be able to experience another new clutch sooner than you'd like .

I read a long time ago that in Japan women were flushing the toilets to cover any embarrassing sounds they might make while using the toilet. This was wasting lots of water. The solution was a built in electronic toilet flushing sound at the press of a button. Perhaps Honda could come up with an electronic tire chirp sound thereby sparing clutches and other vitals.

So you can't chirp your tires anymore?
Awww man!!!! People won't think you're cool anymore!
Seriously, clutch feel will differ when a clutch gets replaced. Clutch feel is different from one S2000 to another. How about giving the clutch some time to bed in a bit before you give her hell?

Two weeks? I had mine back in 7 hours...and that was with the spark plug recall being done at the same time.

To make things worse, my warranty expires in 2k miles.
