Just had my clutch replaced with an F1 Racing Stage one kit, on taking the car for a quick test drive it was not right, the early MY clutch buzz was noticeably louder, the pedal was sooo light and within 1 mile the Check engine light came on.
Straight back to the garage and they said it's code 23. (knock sensor)
I've left the car with them as im not driving it like that and they cant get to work on it until monday.
Anybody got any insight as to what they coud have done wrong?

They broke your knock sensor. It wouldn't be the first time. It's quite easy to do when getting the tranny out.

OK, thats the Warning light figure out (how much are they to replace and how hard to do?)
Any ideas on the increased noise/buzz and way lighter pedal?

As for the feel/buzz - that may just be the way it is. Have you ever driven another S2000 with that clutch?
I've got a Competition stage 2 - the feel is similar to OEM but it's much more on/off as to bite. It also buzzes much worse than the OEM.
The buzz doesn't bother me after all this time. I love driving through downtown Chattanooga in second between big buildings then letting off from about 5K.

I've seen a few folks duck.

There are several aftermarket clutches that buzz just as loud or worse than the 00-01 stock disc.

It's all in your point of view (or sound).

Bet ya when they went in for that top starter bolt they smashed into your knock sensor with the extension. You should get them to replace it because they broke it. And clutch buzz with aftermarket is common. I have a stage 2 ACT with an 11lb. flywheel and it's pretty "buzzy" lol

Actually, I mean "worse" rather than just "louder."
Other people's experience may be different, but mine rattled and buzzed like a &*^(ing Yugo. I'm sorry, but piss poor build quality is piss poor build quality, whether the noises are in a Honda or a GM pos from the 80's.
I replaced the disk about 35k miles ago, and all is well so far. In fact, I enjoy the car again so much I'd consider replacing a clutch disk every 35k miles, if that's what it takes.

I've been in plenty of cars that the exhaust is louder than the clutch buzz.
Cheapest clutch buzz fix = single exhaust, no resonator. Brand is not important.
