Clutch question.
My s2000 finally hit 100,000 miles and after a midnight of celebration, my clutch finally decided to say goodbye. im trying to decided what to get but i really dont know any technical stuff and i would really apreciate your help.
The only mod my s2000 has is a cold air intake. she is also a 2007.
What clutch should i get ?
Should i buy a lighten flywheel?
I do alot of stop and go driving so i believe a stage one should more than handle anything and keep my foot happy.
PS, any reputable low cost place in miami that is good at changing clutches, i would like to have an estimate.
If anybody has a lightened flywheel and clutch combo installed in their s2k , please tell me if its worth it. and if it makes it any quicker ?

I would just put in the AP1 flywheel - lighter without being too light for daily driving. Maybe also put in the ACT pressure plate and firm up the engagement a bit.
The flywheel is directly attached to the engine so when you blip the throttle while in neutral, its the biggest factor in how fast the engine rpm rise and drop. AP1 is 30% lighter, with something like a 4x rotational force factor, it will feel lighter and more responsive.
