clutch question
Hey guys, So I recently replaced my OE clutch that was in need of replacing lol with a competition stage 2 clutch. After bleeding the system the clutch would start to engage 1 inch from the floor and now after driving it for a week it engages at the top of the pedal. What causes this to happen?

You didn't bleed it enough originally. And/or you probably didn't re-set the freeplay correctly.

I don't know but I'm glad you posted. I have a stage 2 CC pressure plate with OEM disc going in.
I have also helped change this setup for my friend who is also having the same issue. New clutch master/slave, PP, disc, etc. We used a vacuum bleeder tool and bled manually. Both results were similar where engagement is near the floor. I ended up adjusting after bleeding for the third time and it still engages kinda low(adjustment is near the end of the rod now). Stumps me to this day and the engagement point is about 25-30% off the floor travel.

When I changed to the cc stage 2 my pedal travel was really close to the floor as well. After 500km I supercharged it @ 420whp I got the car back with higher engagement similar to the stock clutch. I'm guessing it has something to do with breaking in the clutch.
