Default Clutch Problems @ 38,XXX

So it started about 3 days ago? woke up one morning and as soon as i pushed my clutch down to start the car i immediately noticed that my clutch was lower and softer. I figured it wasnt anything big kept driving and it drove fine jsut the fact that the pedal was lower/softer. But today i started my car again and this time it has gotten ALOT lower. And now its hard to shift it into reverse.. Sometimes 1st feels funny. Ive asked couple people they said it was my clutch master cylinder but if nething that i would just have to bleed my clutch and it would be fine. Is this a big problem to worry about?

Clutch masters rarely need a bleed if nothing was done to the car in terms of maintenance or installation. You prob have a leak somewhere

Sounds like if nothing else, low fluid. But your car is old enough the the CMC is probably bad. They don't seem to last that long in S2000s.

i just had this problem. same exact symptoms, and i'm also shy of 30K on my car...

i looked in the bay, under the car, and at the footwell around the clutch and couldn't find any leaks.

my fluid level was low, so i assumed it was a leak..but i can't find it!

however, i did a clutch fluid flush (and a brake fluid flush) and now it's all better. im gonna keep my eye out on the fluid level, but so far so good.

i've read even new CMC's can have this problem, and keeping fresh fluid and the appropriate level will alleviate the problem.
