Clutch problems
Dear all, I have been searched the forum about this. I found some related topics but not exact. I hope you guys can help me out.
I find my clutch engagement points is getting higher and higher. It is now near the half way. My S is easily got stall if I put in 1st gear and slowly release the clutch without giving gas. Is this the sign of the clutch wear out?
Second problem is I have the "Click" on my clutch like the other fellow members. I can both listen and feel it. It doesn't happen all the times. Once it happened, after I popped the clutch few times, it disappeared. So what's the problem here?
Last question is about replacing clutch. I am new to clutch thing becaz I have never replaced or get my cars replaced the clutches before. I am just wondering what are needed to be replaced if the clutch is wearing out? Pressure plate and clutch disc? Anything more? I am able to find a local shop which carry the spoon PP and clutch disc.
Thx
Danny.

What are needed to be replaced if the clutch has been worn out? Besides pressure plate and clutch disc, anything else? If I got the spoon pressure plate and clutch disc, what else "spoon" stuff I need to get my clutch repaired?
Thx

Definitely replace throwout bearing when replacing pressure plate and friction disk. Last item may be the flywheel, depending on its condition. It may be scratched up, glazed over, or burnt on the surface where the friction disk engages it. If you have someone who knows what they are doing, you can have them resurface the original flywheel. Otherwise, the only way to get a nice flat, smooth surface is to replace the flywheel.
