this. brake fluid is used for the clutch. since i bought fluid prior, i decided it was a good time to do the clutch and brakes the same day.

i would do a full flush. there's plenty of threads on s2ki that give a detailed DIY.

here's a good write up that helped. you can also do a gravity bleed.

i bought a cheapo bottle of brake fluid from the auto store and a liter of ate super blue. i did a flush w/ the cheap stuff to clean it out then did it all again w/ the ate blue. that was just my approach to it, as doing a prior flush then re-flush isn't necessary.

And now its hard to shift it into reverse.. Sometimes 1st feels funny. Ive asked couple people they said it was my clutch master cylinder but if nething that i would just have to bleed my clutch and it would be fine. Is this a big problem to worry about?

im having the same issues, i just bought the car and the clutch pedal was pretty low (this is my second s2k so i know the difference) this one has 40k and the next day it was hard to shift into first and reverse. i already ordered new master and slave cylinder. the reservoir was a little low so i topped it off and i noticed a little drop of fluid underneath the dash on the master cylinder. ill try bleeding it first and see if that helps, if not ill swap out the master and slave.
