Clutch problem?
Hey guys, I have a 05 with 42k mi
So I took the s2k out today and noticed that the clutch is acting a little weird. Before today my clutch normally engages around 3/4 from the bottom but now it engages very high. When I let go of the clutch slower than normal in first i can start rolling without giving any gas and not stall, when I let go normally without giving it gas the car doesnt stutter like normal when the clutch is where it normally is supposed to engage, when i let go faster than normal it does stall. Also when at ~11 mph shifting from 1st to 2nd i can just let go of the clutch like normal but without giving it gas and the shift is smooth and the car wont jerk or anything like it normally does when gas is not added?
I looked online for how to diagnose a bad clutch and saw that if you start the car in a higher gear and let go of the clutch it should stall if your clutch is still ok. So I tried starting in 2nd, 5th, and 6th and it stalled in all those gears starting w/o giving gas. I didn't really see any noticeable slipping when driving today.
I was wondering if this is normal wear and tear or I need a new clutch or is something else wrong like air in the clutch lines? Any help would be appreciated thanks!!!!
