Really? You got to be doing something wrong!

Clutch disk thick center part should be out.

The throwout bearing goes from the inside of the PP out.

When you get the tranny back in and engage the shift fork it should still move around on the pivot. (you should be able to look through the hole and see it around the throw out bearing.

When you put the slave back on it should push the shift fork tight against the throwout bearing.

Yeah I think you need to wait to engage the shift fork until the tranny is bolted up, if not it could get on the other side of the throw out bearing and not move.

You put the fork in as it's just sliding together. I depress the fork with a prybar to make slipping the disk on the splines easier.

I had clutch problems too, when swapped my engine.. and I am still having !!
I spent all my money in my new motor and garage's cost and now the clutch is completely disengaging disk with only 20% push..
The rest 80% of pedal's movement to the floor does nothing..
As a result the clutch that before the swap was working just great with only 10k miles on it, now it spins and working in a real "high" position..

I also created a topic here, couple days before, and not even one answered..

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/856...ird-lately-ii/

I'm going to set it on fire soon!!!!!!
