Default Clutch Pedal Softening

Sorry to start yet another clutch thread.

I just had my HardtopGuy clutch setup (but with ACT Organic friction disc) installed 2 weeks ago. For the first few days the pedal was hard as a rock. I really had to rev it up to get going because there were only two positions, engaged or not. The engagement point was pretty high up as well.
After one week, I noticed the pedal became noticeably softer (although still relatively strong). The engagement point lowered a little and I no longer have to rev it abnormally to get going. Is this just part of the break-in? I completed the recommended break-in period of 200 miles within the first 3 days. There have been no launches or high-revving slips, just day-to-day driving. Could it have to do with the fluid that was used during installation?

Your thoughts are appreciated.

P.S. The clutch is not slipping.

Unless you state the details, how would anyone be able to comment?

i gave you all the details I know. I didn't install the clutch myself.

let me restate this simple question:

can choice of fluid influence the firmness of the clutch pedal?

That's the DETAIL we're talking about. What brand, type, DOT of fluid was used and how confident are you that the bleed was done properly. The S2000 clutch is one of the more finnicky ones to bleed well.
