Default Clutch pedal engagement point rising

I bought my '04 s2000 used with 40k mi. It now only have 45k mi. When I bought it the engagement point was high, so I adjusted the clutch by turning the rod behind the pedal.until the engagement point was around a slight press of the gas. That's the perfect position IMHO. Now the engagement point has risen so it's closer to the top.

How do I test how much "meat" I have left on my clutch?

There should be an inspection window between the block and the trans. There will be a plate on the bottom side of the transmission where it connects to the engine. You remove the plate and look inside.
