Default Clutch pedal click

I have a click on my clutch pedal that comes on as soon as the clutch starts disengaging as my foot clears the master free play. Happens with the car on or off. There are no drivability problems whatsoever, clutch is nicely bled, and new, master is a year old. It only happens when I press down, it does not click on the way up. If I push past the click it won't make it until I release the clutch pedal.

What could be causing this?

There is no additional pressure being caused by this either.

Slop in the clevis pin?

It's the clutch interlock switch snagging on the hole where the stopper used to be.

I had a click on mine for a number of years , mine sounded like it was coming from the pressure plate or outside the cabin. Mine would only happen once every so often, not on every clutch use, but it was very noticeable when it happened. Mine would happen when releasing the clutch pedal. I never figured out what was causing it.
