Clutch Noise When Lifting Off Pedal

Clutch Noise When Lifting Off Pedal
Hello All,
I've been searching through the forums trying to find out why my car makes this noise.
Please bear with me as I try to explain:
When I engage the clutch to shift (either up or down) as I get close to the point where it's fully in, the clutch makes this chatter type or gurgle type noise. I can feel it slightly, and it makes the noise on both the up and down pedal motion. It doesn't make this noise during the first minute or so of driving after the car has been sitting over-night in the garage.
This is a 2000 with 49,XXX km's. The clutch was recently replaced by the previous owner, flywheel was also resurfaced.
I don't have the TSB on me at work, but I remember seeing a TSB for having the release fork lubricated if there are complaints about clutch noise.
Or...I also found this post: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...=0&#entry304163
The below is a copy and paste of a post from the above thread.
"I believe what is usually referred to as clutch chatter is noise and vibration as the clutch slips and grips on the friction surfaces. Often cause by a bad surface on the flywheel and/or friction disk.. sometimes by oil contamination or even drivetrain tolerance problems."
"I guess it is possible you are feeling the buzzing when engaging / disengaging the clutch.. or maybe it is chatter at that time. I don

As long as your clutch fluid level is ok (no leaks etc) then lubricating the clutch fork and slave cylinder sounds about right
If you have it done by someone else you should "convince" them to put some effort into polishing the ball at the end of the slave and the cup at the fork, not just put some high temp grease on it.
If you are doing it yourself you could take all afternoon and make it as smooth as a baby's bottom

Thanks for the reply.
I remember seeing a "how to" post on lub and polishing the ball at the end.
This is another post I had bookmarked in my searchs.
