Clutch Noise
Not sure if this should be posted here but I wanted a more serious informed answer. Any way, my car sounds like a diesel truck at idle and when I press the clutch pedal the noise goes away. I alread yhad the buzzing clutch TSB. Does this mean I need a new flywheel. Also is this something I should try to use my warranty for?

If you've already had the clutch TSB done, I would suggest that they may have done the job incorrectly or incompletely. It could be something's come loose OR, they didn't change the T.O. bearing (as they should have) or cleaned up the T.O. bearing spindle and didn't re-grease it and now the T.O. bearing is going.

i've had the same issue with my civic before. i had pull everything apart, replace the TO bearing and the noise went away.

It was done a little over a year ago. Btw, I was looking at my warranty and it said the flywheel is covered. When I had the clutch changed they told me that it was scorched and tried to get me to replace it. I didn't really trust them being they said it would cost an extra $800 to fix.
