Default clutch master cylinder black dirt...

has anyone serviced this. Drained and cleaned it. What solvent did you guys use to flush out the system and clean it....

Good grief... please don't put any solvent in your clutch hydraulic system. Just flush the clutch fluid (use Dot 3 or Dot 4 brake fluid).

The "black stuff" in the master cylinder is well documented in other threads. Try searching.

there is a "how-to" by xviper here. Oh, and don't use a solvent..just use the correct fluid

Thanx guys I knew not to use solvent because it might swell the seals.
