The leak may have been the MC and you havent found the fluid yet My MC went out during an autox event. I noticed before a run my clutch would barely disengage. Seemed to get worse as the day got hotter. I checked and fluid resevoir was almost empty. Filled it twice that day to finish the event and get it home. When I bought he car, the previous owner gave me a brand new Honda MC because he had thought the master cylinder was bad and bought a new one, but it never leaked again so he never installed it. I think it was only leaking when very hot.

When I got home to replace it and jacked up the car, I was still stumped as to where the fluid was going since I could find no sign of it. On many cars, it runs into the foot well or down the firewall. When I jacked up the front of the car I found it. It came pouring out of the plastic cover under the firewall and foot well. By the looks of it, every drop that leaked went into there which is why I could not find any of it.

Replaced the master and bled the system (it took a while to bleed fully) and it has been good for the 2 years since.
