clutch intstall question
i put the clutch assembly together but it doesn't seem like i did it right
problem 1 - there isn't any pressure on the throw-out bearing ( i forget if there is supposed to be)
problem 2 - we didn't use the alignment tool, although what we did use was something that fit in the whole and was the proper diameter but it i didn't have the splines.
parts used
comptech flywheel
act clutch and pressure plate
(2000 s2000)
i didn't disassembled the old clutch so im not sure how this one should be, although i have assembled a clutch a long time ago but i forget how it goes, and i did everything according to the shop manual
thanks for any assistance
i will take some pictures if you guys think there is a problem

1) If the tranny bolted back up then the alignment was probably close enough.
2) You replaced both the pilot and throw out bearing? I assume you got a new pilot bearing with the flywheel right?
3) Explain what you mean about "pressure on throwout bearing". The clutch fork should be loaded by the throw-out bearing. There may be some slop when it's bolted together but, when you mount the clutch slave cylinder up, I'd expect the clutch piston to fit reasonably snuggly to the divot in the clutch fork.

yes the throwout bearing is on the inside.. but there in no force on it from the pressure plate
everything is all torqued to spec and and assembled ..but i can wiggle the throw out bearing around
the engine is completely removed btw
