Clutch install went Bad?
So, heres the situation; im putting a new clutch in my Ap1 (on the ground of course), i bolt resurfaced flywheel up, clutch disk and pressure plate(XTD), and when i put the transmisison on i put the fork on and slave cylinder, and the problem is before i go too far i tried too push the clutch in too feel it, as soon as i push it in it clicks and pedal sinks too floor, and after that i pull pedal too top and when i hit it from there it only goes halfway and then acts like it hits a wall?? and the pedal is weak, hydrollics are good i never messed with them, and i thought it might have been a pressure plate issue so i tried the previous pressure plate with new disk and it does the same thing. I am a technician at a local shop and my transmission professional and i are lost and stuck? anyone have any ideas or problems?? thanks

Maybe your slave gave out.

Did you bleed the system?
And when the clutch pedal "hits a wall" about half-way, does it stay there or does it go back to the 'up' position? What happens if you pump the clutch pedal?
If you have a friend (it's okay if you don't have friends, you can substitute with a phone camera!) have them push the pedal while you watch the slave. See if there's anything out of the ordinary going on that's binding the slave cylinder. When I had this issue (I have a push conversion on my carbonetics twin disc) it was because the slave rod was protruded out too far and wasn't allowing the slave to fully extend (blocked by the conversion pieces)

Figured it out, the actual clutch disk was wrong idk if it's for a different car, but the springs are too think and push against the pressure plate when the plate is bolted down correctly, thanks
