clutch install with J's racing intake
First and foremost. If this is in the wrong section then please move.
I am planning on having a clutch, PP, and flywheel installed very soon and i have a J's intake in the car. I was just wondering if I should take that off and temporarilly put on a short ram just for the install. The work will be done on a lift so i was wondering if the motor mounts still need to me loosened to tilt the engine for the install. I just don't want someone wandering around in the engine bay and even possibly messing up the intake. I have read the DIY for the clutch change but that was done with jack stands so I'd just rather be safe instead of sorry. Thanks for any advise or input.

If you don't trust the tech to not scratch the $$$ piece of carbon, take it off. The intake does need to be out of the way to access several bolts, the drive belt and alternator.
The entire subframe with the engine bolted to it has to be lowered. You don't loosen any engine mount.
