Yup, the four corner bolts hold the subframe, that's why you only lower them 3 inches.
The whole thing takes me about 5 hours on my car, on an untouched car a little longer.
No loctite on anything, just torqued to spec which is 94 ft-lbs

Thanks for the write-up. I've been contemplating doing this on my own or just paying someone to do it. This thread definitely pushes me towards a DIY.
Is the trans a pain to line back up when you're putting it back on?

One thing I haven't seen anyone talk about is the flywheel. Can you resurface it yourself? Do you just buy one that already has been and swap yours as a core?
