I have removed the transmission but I am currently waiting on parts to arrive. I have pictures to add and will begin my own commentary (since I reached the end of the previous set) soon. My clutch was /very/ worn, but I don't think I was into a bolt at all.

Sorry, there's a SNAFU involving parts currently. I haven't forgotten, I'm just having to wait for parts to arrive. I might pull the flywheel off this weekend as I help my father put a new blower motor in his truck.

Clutch swap is pretty easy if you are mechanically inclined at all. Just get a shop manual and follow the instructions! The hardest part for me was the prop shaft bolts which I ended up cutting off because I had rounded them out.
If you have trouble with the alignment tool like I did than just leave the bolts to the pressure plate loose enough so that the clutch plate slides around, bolt the tranny to the block and than tighten the bolts through the hole where the shift fork is. Mark one with a paint pen so that you know when you have gone all the way around. But if you cut them off...how did you get them out?!

+ I didnt do all the steps you did before loosening the prof shaft bolts.
no real need to do that.
also you DO NOT need to loosen bolts on the rear end of the prop shaft.
BUT instead I lowered the engine by 2 inches using the factory lowering mechanism on the front support frame plus I removed front left engine cushion (EDIT: I know see you did the same...)

If you include part arrival times...about 3.5 weeks so far.
But in wrench turning time, and being very conservative to do everything carefully and overly cautiously. I did the tear down in about 10hrs. This is an extremely long amount of time from what I've heard others talk about, but I prefer to take my time and double check everything as I go.
