Clutch has way too much freeplay

That's grease, not rust. Crawl under your dash and see for yourself, if you have an OEM clutch master.

Nissin does not mean its a genuine Honda part.

Just means that the casting was made by Nissin. I could put some absolutely trash seals into a Nissin cast housing which I bore out carelessly and sell it. It would be awful. But it would say "Nissin"

If you buy an aftermarket unit, it will often also say "Nissin" on it.

OK, thx for clarification. Again, difficult to see on my phone. Appears exactly like rust.
