Clutch has a lot of play all a sudden.
So yesterday I noticed reverse being a little tough to get in. I have an ACT clutch & pressure plate with a comptech flywheel. So today I also noticed that the clutch felt very light compared to normal and upon further inspection noticed it drops nearly to the floor before disengagement begins. I searched the forums and found threads like this:

I check the clutch resevoir and it was beyond low. I looked at my carpet under the clutch pedal and didn't see or feel anything wet, but when i pushed the pedal in a reached up to the cylinder my finger came out with a whole bunch of black sludge. So my question is, is it normal for this piston to be greased up? I think this might be the leak. Does the master cylinder need to be replaced or are their rebuild kits. Should I try the flush and bleed like Billman suggests first?
