Default clutch gone bad?

How can you tell if your clutch is going bad without tearing it open for a looksee? I know the will start to slip after a while but according to the dealer, mine was in pretty bad shape when I had the TSB done and I never felt any slipping.

you should know the clutch is going also from the height of the pedal upon release. If it takes more ground clearance to release or gets higher, then it's time to replace.

I hope that helps.

I thought that hydrolic clutches were self adjusting. After the TSB was done I didn't notice a difference in the height of the clutch. I did, however, notice the the new clutch felt a lot lighter.
