Yeah, I'm pleasantly surprised too. But that the beauty of this board. Has saved me a lot of time and effort repeatedly. And it's just a coincidence that Chris Barry lives not 5Km from me and I know him personally. For which I am very grateful.
PS> Chris, how did you do at Bathurst?

What did you do to that Exedy to "weld" it to the flywheel?
With fresh fluid the master might stop leaking.
Its nice to see a topic like this.
Problem - discussion - testing - solution.

I can't tell you how relieved I am this thread isn't much longer.
But in retrospect if I'd had Chris' advice at the time I could have saved an exhorbitant towing fee and a week of downtime.

Aus,
Glad it was an easy fix. My psychic powers must be working well at the moment.
You would probably find that slightly different hand/foot co-ordination on the subsequent gearchange after your launch and it would have broken free without you noticing.
Clutch may have plenty of meat, you just put a bit too much heat into it on the launch.
Bathurst was pretty good up to the point when I lost a conrod.
There is a thread in the NA forum with the details and links to videos.

Just to comment in this pic, the master is leaking a tiny bit. It does not need a master.
95% of s2k masters look like this.
Change the clutch fluid every oil change. Don't even bother bleeding or flushing. Just empty the res, clean it with paper towels, and fill it back up. Takes 3 minutes. The leaking WILL stop
