Default Clutch going soft on occasions

I have only had my S2K for a few months now and I am having a slight problem with my clutch going soft every now and then. There has been no particular pattern it just goes softer than the norm but still works fine. Is this ok?

When it goes "softer", it's probably heating up too much and slipping. With a MY'00, has it ever had a clutch job done? Has it ever had the clutch fluid changed? Might consider the fluid first and see if you still need to the clutch job.

Fluid check time. Maybe some air in the line.
