ok.. since i dont want to shell out so much money for the master and slave.. im just going to take your word for it. hopefully, this doesnt return. also, do you know why there is leaking into the interior by the pedal? this kinda pisses me off because i went to my local honda dealership a few weeks back and asked if i should flush/bleed the clutch fluid since its got about 60k miles on it. the service rep brought the mechanic in and he told me the clutch fluid should last the life of the car. so i opted out.MISTAKE on both parts. it seems everytime i take my car to a mechanic, whether its honda or some other type, they seem to be somewhat wrong about diagnosis and maintenance. S2ki people seem to get it right though. CASE in point: i test fitted some wheels the other day and the owner of a TIRE PROS told me the wheel would not fit. not even with rolled fenders. I test fitted the wheel with a used tire and it fit perfectly. no rubbing. Hell i could probably drop the car too w/o rolling fenders. ANYWAYS, what should i use. Honda brake fluid, motul, ATE?

I think he was joking with you when he mentioned windex. Just use a clean towel to clean the inside of the reservoir otherwise you will contaminate the sytem.

No. im not going to spray windex anywhere near the reservoir.. there was fluid leaking near by clutch pedal in the interior.. i was asking what i should use to get that out.. all purpose windex seems like a good idea because it cuts grease and crap like that.

He may be asking how to get it fluid out of the carpet, if so, I sometimes use a small amount of Orange Hand Cleaner to remove grease, oil, etc... from carpets and fabrics. You may want to pull the carpet and do a really good cleaning to remove all fluid that may be trapped between carpet and body.

whats that thing people on s2ki talk about at autozone for $5. its a tool that safely removes the carpet. btw: i dont think i got any on my carpet, but near the firewall and clutch pedal. but i might remove my carpet just to make sure. hopefully i dont screw up the alignment putting it back. dont know yet.
