Hey guys, so here is the story.
I took my 02 s2k for a very rough drive the other day, i'm talking drifting n stuff.. when i was done as i was driving home i found that my clutch was not disengaging fully, with the pedal pushed out i had to kind of force the gears to go in, so i figured that i messed something up real bad. I jacked the car up looked at the clutch fork and it was halfway trough the rectangle hole.. basically the pedal would fall halfway and start working towards the bottom.. i tried to set the fork back in but it kept slipping.. and i discovered friction plate chunks everywhere.. so i took everything apart discovered that the friction plate was destroyed and the release barring was ruined, so i installed a new clutch kit today.. put the trans back on to discover that the clutch fork still does not sit where it should it slides back halfway.
the first vid is of the fork when i force it into place it just slides halfway, does not sit where it needs to.
and the second vid is the friction and bearing carnage.
if anyone can enlighten me on wth is wrong or maybe im just missing a step or idk at this point..Btw the clutch was OEM and i installed another OEM one..

hey i tok it apart, the hanger looks good i guess.
the fork idk kinda looks crooked but i'm not sure.
when i slide it on the release barring it can slide trough all the way, idk if thats bad, if its bent. im really confused now, fork kinda seems like its too wide and slips trough the barring too far. but idk is it supposed to do that and the hanger not holding it properly?
