Clutch fork installed backwards
After aligning the trans up and bolting the 3 upper tranny bolts, top starter bolt, and 3 rear mounting bolts, I realized my fork is backwards. The cup where the slave cylinder piston is suppose to sit is facing the motor and not the slave.
Can I just pull out the trans ever so slightly by taking out the top starter bolt and leaving the 3 upper tranny bolts very slightly threaded in the motor? Or do I have to pull of the trans completely and flip the fork? Any help would be appreciated.

Ouch! I dunno the answer to your question. But, I feel your pain.
It's why I like to take "before" photos of every fix, no matter what it is. Cars, guitars, amps, plumbing... ad nauseum. You just never know...
Good luck!

Should be enough space to turn it around.

I can't pull out the fork the way the trans is sitting. I don't wanna chance damaging the bearing or the PP. Can I just slightly unbolt the starter and the 3 upper trans bolts and flip it from there?
